The Pit BBQ Grille
Established in 2016 and co-owned by four friends, Bryant Browning, Chimdi Chekwa, D’Andre Martin, and Mike Johnson, The Pit BBQ Grille has made it their mission to serve the community by providing an inviting atmosphere, quality meats, delicious sides and their house made BBQ sauce.
Browning, Chekwa, Martin, and Johnson truly believe in enjoying great food with great people and the team strives to provide both for the Central Ohio community at large. Inspired by their friendship, The Pit BBQ Grille brings together each of the owners’ individual experiences with home cooked BBQ and cookouts.
The Pit BBQ Grille makes their signature BBQ sauce in-house every day and all of their sides are made from scratch. Signature dishes include: 1.) Award Winning Polish Boy/Girl: Deep Fried Beef Polish Sausage Topped with Fresh Cut Fries, Pit Slaw and Signature BBQ Sauce. The Girl is the same dish but with added Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, or Brisket to it. 2.) Pit Bowl: Toasted Brioche Bun select meat (brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken or beef sausage) topped with Mac & Cheese, Pit Slaw and their signature sauce. 3.) Pit Fries:Fresh cut fries topped with cheddar cheese and the customer’s selection of meat (brisket, pulled pork or pulled chicken).
