North Market is proud to unveil an updated brand identity alongside a historic milestone: 150 years as a cornerstone of the community. To mark the occasion, the Market will launch a limited-edition 150th anniversary beer this April, kicking off a year of celebration.

The refreshed brand reflects both the Market’s rich history and its forward-looking vision, honoring its legacy while evolving to better serve future generations.

“Since 1876, North Market has been where people come together… over food, conversation, and shared experiences. Our updated brand reflects that enduring spirit while positioning us for the next chapter. We’re thrilled to partner with Seventh Son to help bring this milestone to life.” – Rick Harrison Wolfe, Executive Director + CEO, North Market.

As part of the anniversary celebration, North Market is introducing 1876 North Market Lager, a commemorative beer developed in collaboration with Seventh Son Brewing Co. This limited-edition, traditional, light-bodied lager will debut in April and serves as the first in a series of moments recognizing the Market’s 150-year impact.

“It’s an honor to collaborate with North Market on such a significant milestone. We set out to create a beer that brings people together and celebrates 150 years of community.” – Collin Castore, Owner, Seventh Son Brewing Co., The Barrel and Bottle.

The anniversary beer offers guests a chance to raise a glass to the merchants, guests, and community members who have shaped the Market’s story over the past century and a half.

1876 North Market Lager is a 5% ABV, traditional, light-bodied lager available in six-packs and kegs. The beer will be released on April 14 and distributed by Southeast Beverage. Six-packs will be available at The Barrel and Bottle (North Market Downtown), Market Bar and Vinoteca (North Market Bridge Park), Seventh Son Brewing Co., and select local specialty retailers.

The beer launch marks the beginning of a series of anniversary celebrations planned throughout the year.
