About Market Bar:

Pete Volker and Wayne Lin opened Market Bar in late 2020 as one of the original merchants in North Market Bridge Park. The talented bar staff work efficiently to serve large crowds without sacrificing the quality of the drinks or the guest experience. Market Bar is committed to serving cocktails made from scratch using the highest-quality ingredients and house-made juices and syrups, as well as offering an expansive menu of local craft and domestic beer and best-in-class wines.

How Did The Idea Come About?

With a history of having fun making noise in indie garage bands, Pete and Wayne are long-time friends. Pete worked in education as a high school English teacher and college instructor for over 25 years, and Wayne has founded and operated several different businesses in multiple markets, including manufacturing, retail, design, construction, and marketing. 

Both Pete and Wayne had experience in food and beverage prior to embarking on their respective careers, and when the opportunity arose to become part of North Market, they didn’t hesitate, seeking to bring a higher standard of drinks and service to Central Ohio.
