Rick Harrison Wolfe, Executive Director, is responsible for leading North Market Downtown + North Market Bridge Park and developing their position within the communities they serve. Rick focuses on long term strategic planning, creative direction, fundraising, community liaison activities and business development. Prior to joining North Market in May 2013, Rick created an independent branding consulting agency, The Wolfe Group LTD. Along with that, he moved to Columbus via Los Angeles bringing “The Cheesy Truck,” an LA style gourmet mobile food truck that he created and founded. While in Los Angeles, Rick held the position of Vice President of Brand Development at Skechers USA, and also worked in sales and management for Cole Haan and Donald J Pliner. Rick attended the University of Cincinnati, majoring in Communication and resides in downtown Columbus and Hocking Hills.

 

Peggy Outcalt, Director of Operations & Leasing , is responsible for new business development, leasing, building maintenance, and maintaining the high operating standards at North Market Downtown. She joined the staff in June of 2000, and brings to the North Market strong retail experience. Peggy has worked previously with Tuckerman Optical as Vice President of Operations and Sales for over twenty years, Cheryl and Co. as Director of the Store Division, and most recently for Perfumania as a Regional Manager. Peggy resides in Columbus.

 

Meghan Brouillette, Director of Communications & Marketing, joined the team in September 2014. Meghan is responsible for the planning and execution of community events and marketing that make the merchant, vendor, and visitor experience at North Market unique. Meghan started as Office Manager at NMDA and has been in the Communications role since 2017. She has previous experience as the Office Manager at advertising agency Moxie / Engauge (previously Ten United) as well as former digital agency Shift Global. Meghan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from The Ohio State University. Meghan and her spouse reside downtown and also own/operate Blockfort LLC, an art studio and gallery in the Discovery District.

 

Sarah Karpinski, Senior Manager of Programming & Events, transitioned to her current role in November 2021. Her primary duties include the implementation of North Market events, private facility rentals, coordinating merchants’ events, downtown outdoor markets, pop-up vendors, and other programming activities. She holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Anthropology with a specialization in Archaeology from Ohio University. Post graduation, Sarah spent 4 years working on archaeology projects in the Eastern United States before permanently settling down in Columbus in 2016. She first began working with the North Market that same year, working at the Jeni’s North Market Downtown location, eventually moving into a management position. After leaving Jeni’s in September 2020, Sarah began working for a lab that tested water quality for several towns and businesses across Ohio. She continued working with the North Market during this time, taking a part-time position in the North Market Downtown Office. Sarah resides in Columbus with her partner and their two cats, Steven and Phyllis.

 

Ryan Miller, Social Media Manager + Events Coordinator, is responsible for North Market’s social media accounts, booking entertainment, and assisting with event logistics. Prior to joining North Market in April 2015, Ryan was the Technical Services Manager for Banc Certified Merchant Services, a nationally recognized merchant services provider based in Hilliard, OH. Along with that, he stays busy as a local DJ at various locations around Columbus. Additionally, he is a frequent guest photographer for Wexner Center events and does freelance work for a handful of local publications. In 2010, Ryan relocated to Columbus from Charlotte, NC with his family. Ryan also has experience in a retail/technical environment as a personal trainer for Apple Inc.
