About BBQ & The Pier:

BBQ & The Pier is a coastal-inspired barbecue concept bringing together two things that rarely share a menu — slow-smoked barbecue and fresh seafood. Owned by Enis Ndreu and Elvis Lloshi, the eatery opened its doors at North Market Bridge Park in May 2026, growing out of the pair’s already-successful food truck of the same concept, which continues to run alongside the brick-and-mortar location.

These two seasoned food entrepreneurs bring more than a decade of food industry experience to the venture. Guests will find wings, pulled pork, and brisket — all smoked in a massive smoker — alongside lobster rolls, fish & chips, fried shrimp, a fish sandwich, and other coastal comfort fare, plus crinkle cut fries that have quickly earned a following of their own. Continuing a beloved North Market tradition, BBQ & The Pier also proudly serves fresh oysters in the space.

“North Market has been an incredible home for Holy Crepes, and we’re excited to expand our presence with BBQ & The Pier,” said Enis Ndreu, co-owner of BBQ & The Pier. “Elvis and I wanted to create a concept that blends fresh seafood and our high-quality, approachable barbecue with the energy and quality people expect here. We’re proud to continue serving oysters in this space while introducing guests to something entirely new.”

How the Idea Came About?

Sometimes the best business ideas arrive when you’re not looking for them. Enis and Elvis were relaxing over a drink together one night at North Market Bridge Park when they noticed the empty merchant space nearby — and it was an opportunity practically screaming at them. The concept came together that very night. With a successful food truck already up and running, the two knew exactly what they wanted the space to become, and they decided to turn their mobile concept into a permanent home while keeping the food truck on the road.

The partnership itself was nearly a decade in the making. Enis and Elvis have known each other for almost ten years — Enis used to park his Holy Crepes food truck at the Iron Grill, which Elvis ran alongside Enis’s cousin. After years of friendship and parallel paths in the food industry, BBQ & The Pier marks their first business venture together.

What’s Your Favorite Thing About Being a Part of The North Market?

For both Enis and Elvis, the answer is simple: the family environment among their fellow merchants. It’s a community built on trying each other’s food, giving and receiving honest feedback, and genuinely wanting to see everyone succeed. They also love that BBQ & The Pier lets them offer guests something entirely different from Holy Crepes, adding another distinct cuisine to the market’s lineup — and they’re quick to credit the support they receive from the North Market itself.

When it comes to their favorite part of a day at the market, Elvis doesn’t hesitate — for him, it’s the cooking. And both owners share the same joy in what they get to do every day: offering delicious food that caters to so many different people and tastes, whether a guest is craving smoked brisket or a fresh lobster roll.

The Story of Enis, Elvis and BBQ & The Pier

The story of BBQ & The Pier is really the story of a decade-long friendship finding its perfect moment. Enis and Elvis first crossed paths when Enis would park his Holy Crepes food truck at the Iron Grill, the restaurant Elvis ran with Enis’s cousin. Over nearly ten years, the two built a friendship rooted in a shared love of food, with each accumulating more than a decade of experience in the industry.

For Enis, opening BBQ & The Pier marks another exciting chapter in his North Market journey. Already a familiar face in the community, he operates Holy Crepes locations at both the North Market downtown and Bridge Park, as well as a stall at the East Market. But BBQ & The Pier represents something new — his first business partnership with Elvis, and a chance to bring a completely different style of cuisine to the market community he calls home.
