Marlow’s Cheesesteaks
This beloved cheesesteak spot is the creation of Shanika and Jomar Sheppard, a talented husband-and-wife team dedicated to bringing the classic Philly cheesesteak to central Ohio.
A job transfer brought these Philadelphia natives to Columbus in 2017, and the couple later transitioned into the food industry in 2021. Marlow’s Cheesesteaks was first established as a Food Trailer in 2021 and the pair opened their first Brick & Mortar location in April of 2022. The North Market Downtown location marks the third full time restaurant for the Sheppards. Shanika and Jomar recently made the decision to expand beyond their original Brick & Mortar in Gahanna, Ohio to Budd Dairy Food Hall and as an outpost this season during The Ohio State University home football games at Ohio Stadium.
